A Havdala candle white/blue.
The candles are entwined together to make this special candle for the close of Shabbat.
MADE IN ISRAEL
Havdalah means ‘to separate’.
Through this ceremony we separate and make a distinction between holy and profane, between the Shabbat and the weekday.
The Havdalah ceremony is a multi-sensory experience, one of the few mitzvot that involve all 5 senses:
* hearing- through blessings and often sing songs,
* sight- through candle lightning,
* taste- through drinking wine from the kiddush cup,
* smell- through sweet spices
and finally we feel the warmth of the Havdalah candle by our fingertips, as well as the warmth of our family.
